    That's just something for the hard-core. We turned around a third. After a while, one wonders why I voluntarily walk through a narrow, dripping tunnel through which I have to go back.

              You can walk in the water but sharp stones. Path is very narrow at the beginning no evasion possible. Then doable with some acrobatics

                The tunnel is not really different than the other two before it. If you don't need the kick to walk on a narrow, damp path in the dark, you're welcome to turn around. The end of the levada follows shortly after the tunnel.

                  It takes about 15-20 minutes to cross this tunnel 🔦 if there is no oncoming traffic. In some places it drips 💦 from the ceiling. It is a bit strenuous for tall or corpulent people, as the path is very narrow, the rock face is sharp and the ceiling is usually low.
                  At the beginning of the tunnel you can watch “canyoning” 🧗.
