The so-called city of towers is characterized by its city wall with its 16 towers. On the former fortification you can walk around. Further attractions in Oberwesel are, for example, the Liebfrauenkirche and the striking St. Martin's Church, whose church tower was expanded in 1350 to a fortified tower.
Oberwesel is also one of the largest wine-growing communities in the Middle Rhine. On the 72 hectares of the steep vineyard Schönburg Castle, the winemakers mainly grow Riesling, Müller-Thurgau and Kerner. How about a tasting?
