Bad Münstereifel is a popular resort. Embedded in the densely wooded hills of the Eifel lies the well-preserved medieval old town in the Erft valley. Here you will find many cozy cafés and inns.

Bad Münstereifel is a historically grown romantic town with picturesque half-timbered houses, a lively pedestrian zone with attractive shops and many lively cafes along the Erft.
The historic center with its narrow streets and alleys can be reached via four historically significant city gates in the four directions. The castle complex towers above the city. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view over Bad Münstereifel.
The City Outlet has been located in the historic old town area since 2014. Here, too, it is worth taking a look or two.

Bad Münstereifel has blossomed: the formerly sleepy medieval town was kissed awake by the new outlet concept. Even if the residents' concerns were initially very high, almost everyone was won over by the combination of the old town and the half-timbered houses under monument protection. With the exception of a small agglomeration of shops in front of Orchheimer Tor (in the south), the shops / boutiques are in the (half-timbered) houses. The outlet is a blessing for the city, which has always been damp so far.
