The Protestant church of St. George was built around 1700, from the previous church (around 1360), the sacrament niche was taken over. The altar of 1684, which comes from the Neindorfer church, shows the coat of arms of August of the Asseburg. It was not until the middle of the 19th century that the tower was built. The organ dates back to the baroque era. In the central aisle of the church there are mortuary stones of the former knights, which is a special feature. Worth seeing is the parsonage built in half-timbered style.

The church has been extensively renovated since the 1990s. At the moment (November 2021) the Evangelical Church Community is committed to the renovation of the organ from 1672. Art experts rate the instrument of the Quedlinburg organ builder Johann Decker as extremely remarkable and the renovation of the baroque instrument as "an urgent requirement" for organ monument maintenance in Saxony-Anhalt .
In an old church finance book there is evidence that the congregation bought the organ in 1672. If all goes well, the organ will be ready to play again in November 2022.
