At 234 meters above sea level, this tower is the tallest beach tower in Japan. This symbolic building of the western sub-center of Fukuoka, which is covered by up to 8000 half mirrors and has a sharp appearance with its triangular structure, is known as the Mirror Sail. The panoramic view of the city of Fukuoka from the observation room on the 5th floor with a height of 123 meters is fantastic. The room is equipped with modern telescopes. In the time of Tanabata (traditional star festival) or Christmas, the tower romantically adorns the night view of the city with lighting lights on its half mirrors. The first floor houses shops selling local specialties such as traditional Hakata or Mentaiko sweets, a dining café and a European-style restaurant.
