This is supported by the fact that some former train station buildings have already been converted into rest areas, hotels and guest houses are geared up for day trippers and local public transport provides so-called bicycle buses as a shuttle service. In the course of 2013, seven steel houses in the shape of a "lost wagon" were built between Roetgen and Kalterherberg, which are intended as weather protection or rest areas.
