At the end of August, on a steady, sunny Tuesday, I climbed from the Hölle parking lot via the Magdeburger Hut, contrary to the recommendation on the sign at the parking lot. Most people climb via the Tribulaun Hut, but I found the sun's position during my hike breathtaking. In the morning, the rising sun illuminates the upper Pflersch Valley, and in the afternoon, you head toward the Tribulaun, which is bathed in sunlight. The descent from the Tribulaun Hut back to the Hölle parking lot was quite easy because it was less steep.
However, if you're unfamiliar with the terrain, you can get lost in two places on the boulder terrain in fog or clouds, especially on the Hohe Zahn.
