While the Jökulsarlón is very popular as a highlight of the Ringroad, the Fjallsarlón often stays to the left. Since a visitor center with Iceberg Boat Tours and Frost Restaurant on the western driveway advertises, is much busier than before.
On the west side of the Fjallsa, an unbeatable track leads to the less frequented west bank of the Fjallsarlón without signage.
