        Barfleur: Pittoresque small port town, which may adorn itself with the title "Plus beaux villages de France". The small town today has about 600 inhabitants, but was one of the most important ports of Normandy in the early Middle Ages. Next to the harbor is also the harbor church St. Nicolas from the 17th century worth seeing. Due to the huge Tiedenhub the small harbor falls dry at low tide and the numerous fishing boats lie on the side, like fish in the country.
