        At the edge of the forest, next to the Fernblick restaurant, on the so-called Rodfeld, a lookout tower was built in 2000 for the 1000th anniversary of the Neuses district. The 18.5 meter high wooden tower is accessible to the public via a metal spiral staircase. The Rodfeld Tower offers magnificent views of the hills from its 15.2 meter high platform. The Ronneburg can also be seen from here.
