This is partially classified as S3 or higher. Very well-worn, gravelly with loose rocks, and rooty with steep, bumpy switchbacks. The so-called "flow" here is certainly only available to very few mountain bikers.
Riding it again in 2025: After seven years of extensive trail riding, most of it is now working. I do have to dismount a few times, but I find it's often clearly classified as S3.

Still technically VERY demanding in 2024, I would classify it somewhere between S2+ and S3, very nice when dry, provided you have mastered the driving technique, otherwise it can quickly become dangerous ☝🏻 Not a good idea when wet... the prohibition signs are no longer there, 4 hikers said hello, it wasn't a problem 😌

Update 11.11.2018 The trail is officially closed due to storm damage (fallen trees). An exercise and driving is punishable according to notice on the way with up to 5000, - Euro. The community Lenggries assumes that the damage will probably be eliminated in the spring of 2019.
