From the rocky beaches in the Rå uddar nature reserve you have a wonderful view of Lake Vättern. The sparse pine forests and rocky soils turn inland into an old growth spruce forest.

The trail runs in loops through the area and it is possible to choose different lengths. The terrain is easy to hike.

Gorgeous small, hidden nature park on the northern Lake Vättern. The driveway to the parking lot is really hidden and not signposted, we went twice over. The trails are well marked and a bit tricky, according to tourist information in Askersund. You should have sure-footedness and good shoes. After the relatively frequent rain showers, the mosses on the rocks are like soft soap and swam off into the lake.
