2016 - In autumn 2016, the former guard house near the “Red Cross” at the entrance from Weigelsdorf was cleared of thicket. The ceiling was then replaced. Re-roofing is now planned for this year in order to protect this house from further water ingress and to be able to use it again after it has been drained.

March 2017 - 13 pallets of used roof tiles find new use. The former guard house in the castle park will then be “re-covered” with these roof tiles. Some wooden beams and brick slats were also dismantled in order to use them again in the former guard house.
