The building itself is an eye-catcher! In the environmental station LBV, which resembles an oversized bird's nest, everything revolves around the regional flora and fauna. In the outdoor area, the focus is on the topics of water, sand and biodiversity and invite you to explore, observe and discover at various stations. In the Rothsee, a pond, several research ponds and a large underwater world, you can watch the local fish. There is a water and mud area to let off steam.
It is open on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. From May to October, the center is also open to visitors from Tuesday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
