Not far from a water buffalo enclosure in a natural valley, there are high-rise buildings within a stone's throw, all of which were built with a view of the water buffalo pasture. Tarred paths serve as athletes' paradises and cross the enclosures. The skyscrapers themselves are a really stark contrast to the rest of the surrounding area.

You definitely have to see it - even without the water buffalo, which are truly exotic in a big city like Berlin.

I live there "around the corner" and drive these paths often. Especially cool: the direct connection or proximity to other nice bike routes and destinations: Wall Trail, airfield Johannisthal, Rudower height - there are quite a few "green ways", which are good with the bike passable.

The area has its own charm at every time of the day and year and invites you to interrupt your bike or hiking tour and explore the area away from the Wall Trail. Not only does it feature water buffalos, which you usually have to look for on the extensive grounds, but it is also a great waterfowl area (it is worth bringing binoculars with you). The famous "MIlchhof" Mendler is also in close proximity and is worth a visit on its own (its annual harvest festivals are legendary).
