The ruins Hohensyburg is definitely worth a visit. As a hiker I enjoyed the view over Hagen and the Hengsteysee. As a contrast, the casino is not far away. I've already found my luck while enjoying the great view.

The way is worth it. From the Kaiser Wilhelm monument you have a great view of the Lenne estuary in the Ruhr. There is a small stall at the Vincketurm. Lots of seats are available. You also have a great view of the park from the Hohensyburg ruins.

On the Syberg is a real collection of historic buildings. All together there are remains of three castles, an observation tower and various monuments. Lots to see so up here …
