In 1232 Tanna is first mentioned in documents and also a Tanna pastor.

In 2013, the old school in Tanna was demolished (I'll save some comments on it anyway.) There have been some heated discussions about whether this was justified and meaningful or not, as well as contributions to TV that are still on Youtube today. )
The fact is: The old school is gone down to the substructure and the church forecourt has been completely redesigned. But you can say without exaggeration that the area looks really nice now, and there is enough room for the Christmas market now. But if it was justified to demolish the listed school, everyone has to decide for himself. Locals say that we now have at least the largest balcony in the area: D Lucky that the big moves no longer exist, otherwise some people would certainly like to be cheered by the passing infantry;)
At least the ancient elm was preserved. Alone alone worth the visit.
