The Badhausplatz is located directly on the bridge over the Schwarzach and is very nicely designed. There is seating, beautifully designed beds and direct access to the Schwarzach. An e-bike charging station is also available.

The former public “bathhouse” stood at the entrance to the Wendelstein old town directly on the Schwarzach until 2012. The building with the oldest components from the 15th century could not be preserved on site and was transferred to the Franconian Open Air Museum in Bad Windsheim. The “Badhausplatz” that has now been created here with stairs to the Schwarzach and information about the former building is a conscious reminder of the former use and importance of this area.
