A fully moated castle with a classical appearance and preserved appurtenances to the north, situated outside the moat on either side of the cobbled entrance to the estate: a gatehouse and stables to the east, and a stable with an adjoining bakehouse to the west. The entire castle estate now covers an area of six hectares and, in addition to the residential island, includes a park area with several remarkable solitary trees, an orchard bordered with hawthorn and privet, and meadows and woodland at the Vollebroek along the Nieuwermolenbeek stream.
