            The Murgradweg from Freudenstadt to Rastatt is beautiful. A beautiful low mountain landscape with partly beautiful views. However, it is also challenging due to some strenuous climbs. My personal top 1. But not only in the flat valleys. If you continue cycling to Karlsruhe after the Murgtal, I recommend the unpaved path after the town of Rastatt at the railway underpass, to the left of the railway via Ötigheim, Durmersheim, Bietigheim.
            If you drive on one of the asphalted paths to the right, you are on one of the streets where you only see cars until Karlsruhe.

              The view from the bridge is fantastic. I especially like the view of the Franz Brewery with the old water tower next to it.

              It's easy to cycle along the Murg River and also through Rastatt. However, most of the paths on the embankments are closed to cyclists. They are reserved for pedestrians.
