Stretching north of Battleford, Jackfish Lake is ringed by small resort communities and anchored by The Battlefords Provincial Park on its northern shore. Visitors come for camping, boating, swimming, and fishing, with northern pike and walleye among the catches. The lake’s waters flow in from Jackfish and Lehman Creeks and out through the Jackfish River, linking it to the wider prairie landscape.
