Preserving the site of the Battle of Eutaw Springs (September 8, 1781), which was the last major Revolutionary War engagement in the Carolinas, this small 2.7-acre park features a historic marker and the relocated grave of British commander Major John Marjoribanks, whose original resting place was submerged with the creation of Lake Marion. Today, visitors can walk the grounds, reflect on the battle’s significance, and connect with nearby lands that extend the battlefield’s footprint.
