The Memramcook River runs through the Memramcook Valley before widening into a tidal estuary near its mouth on the Petitcodiac River. Upper sections are bordered by farmland and forested banks, while the lower river is shaped by the powerful Fundy tides that expose mudflats at low tide. The river is most easily viewed from roadside pull-offs and bridge crossings in the village, making it a natural landmark to include on walking or cycling outings in the area.
