The Iguassú Velha Historical and Archaeological Park is located in Nova Iguaçu, at Estrada Zumbi dos Palmares, 3. It houses the ruins of the old Vila de Iguassú, an important center for the outflow of coffee production during the Brazilian Empire period.
The park's main attractions are the ruins of the village, which include the Bernardino de Mello Farm (listed as a historical landmark in 1951), the Nossa Senhora da Piedade Parish Church, and the old Port of Iguassú.
