This stretch of the Dobson Trail winds through Acadian forest, where tall spruce and birch trees arch above the path. The terrain gently rises, giving you a taste of the region’s rolling hills. Ferns and moss cover the ground, and after the rain, the air feels fresh and earthy. It’s a great section to feel fully immersed in the forest, with moments where sunlight breaks through the canopy and lights up the trail ahead.
Dobson Trail spans 58 km; this is just a short forested section that ends at Smith Road. You can walk for more or less and even combine it with some of the dirty roads in the area to make a loop.
