The Messner Alm is located just behind the end of the valley car park in the Gsieser Tal and can be reached from there in a fairly easy walk without any major challenges. The access path is also suitable for prams.
The Alm is run by the owners of the Hotel La Casies and offers a variety of food and drinks.
It is quite new and modern but renovated with many traditional references.
There is also a hiking stamp.

Not only closed in winter. It was also closed today, June 27, 2025. I saw a lot of disappointed guests. Thank goodness the slightly higher Kradorfer Alm was open, even though I read online the night before that it wasn't open. So, you can't rely on the operators.
