The Magoo Trail is a shared-use route winding through dense forest near the Wapiti River, popular with hikers, mountain bikers, and off-road motorcyclists. When it’s quiet—especially on weekdays—it’s a peaceful trail surrounded by spruce and aspen, with only the sound of the forest and distant river for company. This section includes the steepest climb in the trail, reaching a 17% grade, but most of the terrain features gentle slopes and rolling single-track. The trail can get very muddy after rain, so it’s best tackled in dry conditions and outside of busy weekends for a more tranquil experience.
