The center of the 60-hectare Lünen lake park is the water. There is plenty of it, especially in Lake Horstmarer, which forms the heart of the park with a surface of 9 ha. While the southern part of the lake is dominated by islands and serves as a nature reserve, on the northern shore you will find every sandy beach and large sunbathing lawns that invite you to sunbathe.

Since the beach shallowly merges into the water, the Horstmarer Lake is particularly suitable for families with children who can romp undisturbed in the water here. The Seekiosks with sun terrace invites you to a delicious snack or a cool drink. The Seepark offers a versatile leisure and nature experience. Numerous walks, playgrounds and theme gardens such. The Apothecary Garden offers further insights into the fascinating complexity of the lake park. It is noticeable on the entire site that the former industrial use has remained tangible even after restoration and redesign.

Highlight of the recreational activities in the Seepark is the Discgolf Park. With 24 lanes, it is the largest in Germany. The popular park was created in 2007 as the first facility in North Rhine-Westphalia and offers fun of a special kind.

Information about the style of play, course overview and disc golf courses can be found on the "Discgolf Lakers Lünen" page at discgolflakersluenen.de.

The club organizes many different promotions and tournaments. From beginners to professionals: interested athletes are invited to come to the Seepark from 2 pm on Sundays to get a taste of the disc golf.
