It was not easy to find the way to Plattachsee. We crossed the mountain stream on a snow field and read a sign at the end of the tour, "Don't cross snow fields, danger to life". Please do not imitate, but pay attention to the signs beforehand.

Unfortunately, there is a charge for parking at the lake. Alternatively, you can start at the Klamm parking lot and walk to the Hintersee in about 1.5 hours.

Film set. The lake is beautiful and an absolute must. Unfortunately a bit overcrowded as there is a parking lot right next to it. It's worth walking further in.

Hintersee is a small lake in a beautiful valley. There is also a parking lot right next to it, making it an ideal starting point for beautiful walks. I can recommend the walk to the St. Pöltener Hütte, because you can make a circular walk here. We did the black route there and the red one back. The black route is not very complicated, but there is a small steep part where you can easily hold on to chains.
