The Amagerorv is a very beautiful place in the heart of Copenhagen where there is a lot of life during the day. Very well maintained and clean and the surrounding buildings look a bit like the houses in the Amsterdam canals. Very beautiful architecture and façades that are well worth seeing give a glimpse of the Danish architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. The square itself is named after the Amager farmers who sold their products here in the Middle Ages.
