In the area around Mirow you have access to many lakes and an extensive forest area. In the south at the Zotzensee lies a wonderful forest area. Ideal for long day trips. It is also not far to the south bank of the Müritz. The best way to get around is by boat. Many canoe stations offer different types of boats. If you like it a little more romantic and don't want to sleep in a holiday apartment, we recommend the Hotel Schloßbrauerei on the Schlossinsel. Beautiful rooms with a view of the lake, boat rentals, brewery cellar, beer garden by the water, church and castle are right next to each other.

For cyclists there is a super developed network of cycle paths. For long stages you can also use the bus lines. The buses usually also have a bicycle trailer.

Mirow itself is very clear and in bad weather it can quickly become boring without a car.
