Still an imposing and powerful building full of old legends. The castle has been renovated and made accessible to tourism. Visits are possible with or without a guide. The puzzle tours with knight spirit Hugo are also a lot of fun for children.

Impressive castle ruins, especially because this was built (hewn) in the rock. From the highest Burgebene you have a wonderful view of the Vosges and the Palatinate Forest.

Fleckenstein Castle is the only castle ruin in the area that is open to tourists and is definitely worth a stop for that reason alone. There are guided tours and the view from the top is really beautiful.
At the foot of the castle there is a café and a kiosk for a little refreshment in between. More information at: fleckenstein.fr/de
