The Jungfernsprung is a 70 meter high rock massif in the middle of the city of Dahn, located directly on the premium trails "Felsenland Sagenweg" and "Dahner Rundwanderweg". From the vantage point on the summit cross, there is a great view of the spa town of Dahn, the mighty castle massif "Alt-Dahn, Grafendahn and Tanstein" and the surrounding area.

According to the legend, a maiden jumped down the rock named after her while fleeing. At the point where she miraculously landed unharmed, a spring has been bubbling ever since.

The view is awesome, but if you are afraid of heights like me, you have a bigger task ahead of you with this rock. Luckily there are fences all around to keep us from. 😉
