Due to a dream his wife had the night before, Pilate does not believe Jesus is guilty. Before Passover, the governor is allowed to pardon a prisoner and asks the crowd gathered before him whom he should release: Jesus or Barabbas. The incited crowd demands the release of Barabbas and the crucifixion of Jesus.
