      This "fairytale castle" is right in the middle of the village, right next to an old wooden house. The magnificent building is now a tourist attraction and supposedly the secret symbol of Globasnitz.

      The castle was built in all its parts and details in decades of manual work by the owner and trained carpenter Johann Elbe, with the exception of the electrical and heating. The castle is still not finished. In addition, the versatile artist has created more than 700 paintings, some of which are on display in the palace.
