산악자전거 라이딩
The same are mountains of the Reinhausen Forest in the immediate vicinity. They can be reached via a saddle. There are no remains of the former castle on the northern Gleichen (= Neue Gleichen, 428 m NN). On the southern Gleichen (= Alte Gleichen, 432 m above sea level) remains of the medieval castle have been preserved. Beautiful viewpoints to the south and west on both mountains. There is also a barbecue area and a refuge on Neuen Gleichen.

It is always an uplifting feeling when you reach one of the two peaks. Or both in a row. The view in clear weather is fantastic. The picnic area on the Neue Gleichen is very inviting and the ruins on the Alte Gleichen are pure adventure.

Leave the bike at the bottom and hike up to the same two on foot.
Since the ascent to the "Neue Gleichen" is very steep and to the "Alte Gleichen" it is often very overgrown, at least in summer, so that it is not fun to push the bike there.
