Fantastic view to the Grundlsee, Altausseer See, Loser, Dachstein. Ascent from the parking lot Tressensattel mostly in the forest, therefore mostly shady in the heat.
Roots, stones, sometimes larger steps, therefore appropriate footwear with ankle protection very beneficial.

From the 15 meter high observation tower you have a magnificent view of the Dead Mountains and the Altausseer Lake down in the valley. The climb is a bit difficult, but worth every effort.
