El Chileno is your best option for spending the night in the Ascensio Valley after hiking up to the Torres del Paine viewpoint.
Whether you choose the campsite or the refuge, you'll need to book your stay in advance on the CONAF website (the association that manages national parks in Chile).
A unique feature of the campsite: you'll see that the tents are pitched on platforms raised on stilts. These platforms help reduce the pressure of camping on the ground and therefore limit our impact on the park's flora.
