The Ludza Craftsmen's Center in Latgale was founded with the aim of nurturing the preservation of ancient Latgalian trade skills and craft traditions, raising their prestige in society and offering local residents and tourists the opportunity to get to know the Latgalian way of life through the works of craftsmen and artists, and cultivating Latvian self-confidence.
In the heart of Ludza Old Town, in the former flax warehouse building at Tālavijas Street 27a, craftsmen work with warmth, creating folk costumes, wood, clay, and metal works, researching and reconstructing ancient craftsman skills and objects, learning and demonstrating valuable work skills to all interested parties.
