This is where the Würm meets the Amper. At this mouth, the water and nature can be enjoyed very nice and therefore invites you to linger. If you look closely you can spot traces of animals everywhere or watch fish in the water. The estuary is very easy to unearth and requires no special equipment. Also, the way there (depending on which side) is very shady, which is very pleasant in the summer.

At this point, the Würm flows into the Amper. She has now covered approx. 40 km from Lake Starnberg through the foothills of the Alps and the metropolis of Munich. It is a very varied hike along the Würm with a variety of impressions, not least because it also flows directly past the Dachau concentration camp memorial.
