It stinks in August. In search of a shortcut from the village of Mezgraje to Trupale, I took the wrong turn onto a truck road and found the mouth. Next to this road is a plant for extracting and sorting sand and gravel from the Morava for the construction of highways. The plant has no ramps and no dogs! The road from the mouth does not continue along the Nišava, although there are indications that excavators are expanding the leveled terrain and that it will connect with Trupale.
Later on my way back, I found a shortcut from Mezgraje to Trupale that looks straight on the Komjut map - it is also gravel but with moderately small holes, and passes between cornfields. It is 10 meters wide, because in addition to the width for cars to pass, it also has ditches on both sides.
The only asphalt road from Mezgraje to Trupale is via Vrtishte. And its first part from Mezgraje to Vrtishte has a very beautiful view and peace.
