Sveden Mining Farm is located in the beautiful cultural landscape overlooking Lake Hosjö. The farm dates back to the 16th century and was one of the largest farms in the area during the 17th and 18th centuries. Linnaeus's Wedding House, the reconstructed garden, and the lavatory, featuring typical Carolingian Baroque architecture, make the farm one of the most impressive examples of mining culture in the Kopparbergslagen region. Here, you can experience how a wealthy miner lived and visit the hall where Carl von Linnaeus stood as a groom.
