The Grillenburg is located on a 300 meters above sea level lying ridge east of the village Grillenberg in Sangerhausen and is a very dilapidated ruin but has absolutely flair. We followed the Buschklepper adventure trail over the parking lot at the Waldbad and walked through beautiful deciduous forests to the castle.
