The Erländersee costs admission, but there is a very well-kept lawn with plenty of shade and an entire outdoor swimming pool infrastructure, including bathing supervision and non-swimmers. The mosquito bar offers food and drink.

My wife and I were on FR., 27.7.18 there to cool down on the way to Achern. The lake is great and also free, no entry! We recommend.

Good bathing lake, free entry, no lifeguards. Very good self-service inn. Lots of seating. There are quiet areas and some with sound from the street (little traffic).
