An emblematic place in Gandia are the "Tinglados" at the port. Twelve identical port sheds with impressive vaulted naves. The sheds were built in 1908 to meet the large transport needs of the oranges that were exported. In 1931, three more were added and a 19-meter-high tower with clocks on all four sides, the bell tower, which has become the symbol of the port of Gandia. Since 2018, the sheds have been recognized as a locally relevant cultural asset and one of them houses the Maritime Museum.
