The stone church, designed by architect Vladislav Grudzin (according to other sources, designed by Pyotr Burenin), was built in 1860. During the Soviet era, the church was partially destroyed and devastated, and it remains in such a dilapidated state to this day.
Next to the church flows the picturesque clean river Gryady, meandering among overgrown ravines. There is a bridge across the river, along which a dirt road runs from the village.
