      This is the accessible part of the Dortebach valley that ends at the waterfall.
      The upper wooded valley is almost tropical and humid, the lower part, which extends behind the forest, is alpine dry and very warm. Two very contrasting vegetations and also faunas, but they certainly have their charm.
      You can enter the valley from the Moselle, the entrance is between Klotten and Pommern with a small parking lot or you come over the Eifelhöhe from the Kavelocherhof and climb a long serpentine down. In this case you come out directly at the waterfall.
      The valley is definitely worth a visit, the bridges are all in excellent shape!

        What a wonderful route through this wild and romantic valley! Like in fairy tales! However, nothing for people with fear of heights, as I had to discover with my companion after the waterfall ... somehow we made it up. I thought it was great here, he probably not ;-)
