The bear land is not a zoo, but rather a rescue center for bears that have been kept in terrible conditions. The first of the three bears, Napa, comes from a Serbian circus. He was completely emaciated and was freed and now leads a wonderful life in the mountains around Arosa. From the bear platform right next to the Weisshorn cable car station, you can watch the bears roaming the meadows, eating and lazing around in the sun - that's a bear's life.

You'll also learn a lot about bear and animal protection during your visit.

In winter, unfortunately, only open on Thursdays, but at just CHF 5 a more than reasonable entrance fee.

In winter, the bear sanctuary is only open on Thursdays and costs CHF 5 to enter. The bears can usually only be seen via cameras during their hibernation! Nevertheless, it was very educational and beautiful!
