Filey Bay boasts inviting golden sands and clean waters for swimming (if it’s warm enough). The beach is backed by the pretty coastal town of Filey — which has lots of places for food and drink, as well as markets, museums, and other attractions — and is surrounded by rolling Yorkshire countryside.

Make sure you check the tide times before you arrive :-)

Relaxing hike towards Filey Brigg.
Just make sure not to meet High Tide otherwise it would get wet.
Also critical if heavy rain could destabilise the land.

Brilliant views over Filey best to keep dogs on a lead on beach. The best view are from the golf course looking over to Bempton

Happened to be here on a lovely sunny day, but with 40mph winds - It was a great walk out on the Brigg but 'blowing away the cobwebs' a bit of an understatement!

Takes about 2 hours from cayton bay along the the Cleveland way to Filey couple of uneven parts on the way but relatively an easy walk
