Enter the city gate and then up a small staircase on the right to get to the Fountain Square in Zadar, which is also called Five Wells Square. Erected in 1574. The cisterns under the fountains supplied the city with water until the first half of the 19th century! Highly recommended with many historical buildings and relics.
